Alex studied Economics at Bournemouth University, specialising in Unconventional Monetary Policy. During this period, he completed a two-year professional placement as an FP&A Analyst at Hugo Boss UK, where he developed an understanding of finance, business operations, and accounting practices. After graduating in 2022, Alex pursued an MSc in Economics at Queen Mary University of London and achieved a distinction grade. His master’s degree focused on the dynamics of the US yield curve, applying Bayesian econometrics and modern central banking techniques.
In addition to his passion for markets and learning, Alex enjoys ancient history, sports, city breaks, music, and playing the guitar.
